Dr. Jeff Timko
Dr. Timko graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1973 and established his practice here in DeLand in 1976.
His community involvements include past chairman of the Volusia County School Board.He has also been past president of the DeLand Chamber of Commerce, Leadership DeLand Advisory Committee, Leadership Florida Association and Board member of the Deland Rotary Club.
His professional affiliations include the Florida Optometric Association, The American Optometric Association.
He is also a member of the AOA Contact Lens Section and the AAO.
Dr. Cady
Dr. Cady graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1973.
His community involvements include past president of the Ormond Beach West Rotary, Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Ormond Beach Art Museum and Memorial Gardens Board.
His professional affiliations include the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association
He is also an AOA Contact Lens Section Member and a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
He is an examiner for the AAO.
Dr. Charles Heacock
Dr. Charles Heacock was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School. He then attended The Ohio State University and received his degree from the The Ohio State College of Optometry in 1985. He continued his education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham with a Family Practice Residency.
In 1987, Dr. Heacock joined the Total Vision Associates and settled in the DeLand office in 1989. He was accepted as an Academy of Optometry member in 1995.
Also, Dr. Heacock is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) Contact Lens and Low Vision Sections. He is a past president of the Volusia Optometric Association.
Dr. Heacock is a member of the DeLand Breakfast Rotary; he assists the DeLand Lions Club with their preschool vision screenings. He is a founding member of a new mission in DeLand called The Canvas Church.
Dr. Heacock and his wife, Mary Beth, have been married over 25 years and have three daughters Jessica, Ashley, and Nicole. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, photography, sports, SCUBA diving and traveling.
Dr. Phillip L. Stephens
Dr. Stephens is an Honors graduate of The Citadel in 1985. He recieved his Doctorate of Optometry from The University of Houston College of Optomerty in 1989.
He completed a Fellowship in Ocular Disease and Glaucoma from The Omni Eye Center, Atlanta, Ga. in 1990. His Professional affiliations include The American Optometric Assoc., The Florida Optometric Assoc., Southern Diplomat in Glaucoma, and is also an AOA Contact Lens Section Member.
Dr. Stephens' community involvement includes, The New Smyrna Beach Chamber of Commerce and Southeast Volusia Kiawanis Club. He has been in Practice in New Smyrna Beach since 1990.
Dr. Dustin Ramey
Dr. Ramey was born and raised in Port Orange, Florida. He graduated from spruce Creek High School and attended the University of Central Florida. He later received his Doctorate from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry.
He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and the Volusia County Optometric Association.
Dr. Ramey is board certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Florida Board of Optometry. He has been practicing with Total Vision Associates since 1998.
His community involvement includes past president of the DeBary/Deltona Rotary Club, West Volusia Chamber of Commerce and Daytona Young Professionals Group. He is also an active member of Christ Community Church in Daytona Beach.
In his spare time, Dr. Ramey enjoys anything water related. However, saltwater fly-fishing is his passion. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and good friends, exercising, and traveling abroad.
Dr. Kirsten Wilgers
Dr. Kirsten Wilgers graduated from the University of Florida in 1997 and then received her Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2001.
Born in DeLand, Dr. Wilgers was a Total Vision patient for years before she earned her Doctorate and joined the practice in 2001. She has worked at all the affiliate Total Vision offices and opened the Total Vision office in Port Orange in 2003.
Dr. Wilgers has served as president of the Volusia County Optometric Society and is a member of the Florida Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
She is an active member in the Port
Orange/South Daytona Rotary Club, Junior League of Daytona Beach, Krewe of Amalee and the Port Orange Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Wilgers has also served as past board member of the Port Orange/South Daytona Rotary and Bert Fish Medical Foundation.

Dr. Wilgers enjoys being an active participant in her community and forming lasting patient
relationships based on trust and clear communication. In her free time, she treasures the many joys of motherhood and spending time with her husband, Rhett.
Dr. Andreea Chih
Dr. Chih received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her O.D. degree from the Michigan College of Optometry.
Dr. Chih has practiced optometry in the Detroit Veterans Hospital, Daytona Beach Veterans Hospital, Eglin Air Force Base Ophthalmology department, and private practice specializing in pediatrics in Shelby Township Michigan
She is now with Total Vision in the New Smyrna Beach, Port Orange and Palm Coast offices.
She has also been a participant in 4 international eye care missions.
Dr. Chih’s research pertaining to corneal transplant techniques has recently been published and she is currently working on her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association.
Dr. Bonnie Chalker
Dr. Bonnie Chalker, a certified optometrist by the Florida Board of Optometry, has practiced in Volusia County for the past seven years.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Vision Science at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Chalker went on to achieve her degree as a Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
During her studies she completed her externship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida which is one of the premier providers of eye care in the world and is the largest ophthalmic care, research, and educational facility in the southeastern United States. She is married and has a daughter and a son.
Dr. Chalker's patient philosophy emphasizes the importance of identifying risk factors that can be improved to promote the best of eye health for everyone within the family. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Volusia/Seminole Optometric Society.
